DESCRIPTION

The functioning of the GMK’s Tilted Disc Check Valve is completely independent and may be performed by itself automatically. For a wide variety of uses, the valve may be fitted with oil dashpots that are either located on the bottom or the top. The last 10% of valve closing is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder that is located in the bottom dashpot. In order to mitigate surges on longer systems, the top-mounted dashpot also functions as a separate controller for the whole opening and shutting strokes.
