PTFE Lined Gate Valve

GMK’S PTFE Lined Gate Valve was developed specifically for the purpose of regulating corrosive media in their typical applications. The inside surface of its body is covered with fluorine-based plastic such as FEP/PTFE/PTFE or another kind of rubber. In addition to its widespread use in the power generation, brewing, water, and food processing sectors, this material is also amenable to use in gaseous and liquid capacities. Commonly used in the chemical and petrochemical process, as well as in the food and beverage industry, pulp and paper manufacturing, etc. It is simple to maintain, can be turned on and off repeatedly, and has a long life and high durability.

DESCRIPTION

GMK’S PTFE lined gate valves can be broken down into two categories: rising stem gate valves, where the disc moves up and down in unison with the valve stem as it rotates; and non-rising stem gate valves, where the disc remains stationary while the stem moves up and down in response to the stem’s rotation. In order to prevent particles, fibers, and medium from depositing in the screw groove of conventional non-rising gate valves and causing uncomfortable or jammed operation, GMK developed a lined gate valve with a novel design structure. There are no rules about where a valve must be installed.

Benefits

It’s poor permeability. The straight passageway of the valve allows the medium to flow without obstruction.
It opens and closes with little effort. When a gate valve is in either its open or closed position, the gate moves in a direction that is perpendicular to the medium’s flow.
Third, the gate valve’s extended closing time and stroke lessen the possibility of water hammer.
The gate valve channel is symmetrical on both sides, thus it may be installed regardless of which way the flow is going.
