GMK Bronze Gate Valve
In a pipeline, a gate valve is frequently used to completely block the flow of fluid or, alternatively, to allow for unrestricted passage when it is fully opened. As a direct consequence of this, it can be utilized both in closed and open configurations. A gate valve consists of a body, a seat, a disc, a spindle, a gland, and a wheel to turn in order to open and close the valve. The purpose of stopping the flow of fluid is accomplished by the seat and the gate working together as a unit.
A gate valve employs a wedge or a rectangular gate to control the flow of a fluid so that it can be regulated. They are operated by means of a threaded stem that attaches the actuator (often a hand wheel or motor) to the stem of the gate itself. It is simple to pinpoint the precise location of the valve if the valve stem extends beyond the body of the valve.
